Honorary Consuls of Poland to host reception and performance by
Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra

Honorary Consuls for the Republic of Poland Tad Taube and Christopher Kerosky, and their wives, Mrs. Dianne Taube and Mrs. Mary Kerosky, are hosting a cocktail reception and performance by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra on Monday, November 12th at Davies Symphony Hall. Honorary hosts include the Honorable George Shultz and Mrs. Charlotte Shultz along with Mayor Ed Lee and Mrs. Anita Lee. Many members of San Francisco’s Consular Corps will be in attendance to celebrate this event. A special reception will be held in the Wattis Room of Davies Symphony Hall with the performance to follow in the main hall at 7:00. p.m.
The world‐class Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the oldest musical institutions in Europe and has made over 100 tours on five continents. Poland is one of the European Union’s strongest countries economically and has come into prominence as a major European cultural center and an ally of the United States. With major support from the Taube and Koret Foundations, Warsaw will be the venue of the 2013 opening of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, a landmark institution that will exhibit the 1,000‐year Jewish history of Greater Poland, acknowledged to be a foundation of Judeo‐Christian Western Culture.
