Taube Philanthropies, a long-time supporter of peoplehood programming at JCCs in the SF Bay Area, Warsaw and Krakow, is proud to have supported the publication of Peoplehood Papers #20, titled "The JCCs as Gateways to Jewish Peoplehood," produced by the Center for Jewish Peoplehood Education in Tel Aviv.
On the centennial anniversary of the JCC movement, Tad Taube and Shana Penn contributed an article discussing the history of the JCC movement in the US and the capacities of JCCs to enrich a sense of Jewish peoplehood among Jews and others who enjoy JCC offerings. Taube Philanthropies' grantees, including the Oshman Family JCC, the JCC Warsaw and the JCC Krakow, also have articles in this issue.
