We recently had the privilege of attending the Sharks Foundation Goals for Kids Celebration, where they were honoring their sponsors. Through the Goals for Kids program 2018-2019, for each San Jose Sharks goal scored during the season, $1,000 was given to local organizations dedicated to supporting underserved youth and families in the Bay Area. The sponsors of Goals for Kids have raised $289,000 for six 2018 beneficiary organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth and families in the community:
- Books Aloud, Inc.
- Special Olympics Northern California
- Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties
- Loved Twice
- Racing Hearts
- Okizu
